About:Everest
Hi, my husband and I are planning to visit Tibet in June 2015, and we are 60s years old and quite fit in great shape and we do like some walking on the Mt.Everest Base Camp, what exercises can we take to avoid the high altitude sickness. We work out 5-6 days a week, swimming and yoga.

Hi Heather, actually, working out and a physical train has nothing to do with the mountain sickness. On the contrary, we suggest our clients stop taking exercises at least one week before entering into Tibet, as you need have very good rest. Altitude problem is very common for someone travel from a lower place to a higher region, so first of all you need to take it as very normal. Our tour guide prepares with the local medicine and usually taking one pill will remove the most of the symptoms.
