Generally speaking, the duration from April to November is the golden time. Most visitors choose this duration to visit Tibet. The winter from November to February to Tibet will bring big discounts and less crowed in the low season.

However, you can visit Tibet all year round to explore different beautiful sceneries. If you have a plan to Mount Everest, the months from May to October are the best times. Clear weather make a great chance to see the true face of the highest peak. These months except August are also a good time to kora around Mount Kailash. If you just plan to visit Lhasa, Shigatse, Tsedang, and the areas along the Friendship Highway, four seasons are OK, because the relatively pleasant weather and well-equipped tourist facilities.
