About:Travel Permit

Hello, I'm planning a Tibet trip in the end of April 2015, I'm looking for the flight information from Beijing to Lhasa and find the very good airfares, do I need the TTP to book the tickets right now?

Hi Sid, generally, the airlines ask you to show them your Tibet travel permit when you book the tickets to Lhasa especially if you book the tickets from the airline offical website. So you need to book your tour from a travel agency and get your Tibet travel permit firstly. Or you can ask your travel agency to book the discount tickets that you found for you now, for the travel agency, they always have the special way to help you book a discount ticket without a Tibet travel permit, but need your passport number.
