About:Tibet

I am thinking about a Lhasa and Everest Base Camp tour in the early Feb 2016. I know it may not be possible in the late Feb, March and early April to get Tibet travel permit. Is it cold to visit the Everest Base Camp in early Feb? My travel to Beijing in Feb is already booked so I will go anyway. Any help on my Tibet tour is very much appreciated.

Actually, it is a best time to tour to Tibet during the winter season (November to April). Please read our travel blog about why & how to visit Tibet in winter. But we usually recommend our clients to only visit Lhasa, for the Everest Base Camp, you'd better leave it open. It may snow or catch up the harsh weather, and would be closed in early Feb.
