About:Train to Lhasa

Hi Tour-Tibet team. In January, 2015, my family and I would like to plan a trip to Tibet by train from Shanghai to Lhasa, and spend 4 days in Lhasa. We like the tour covering the attractions, like Potala Palace Lhasa & Namtso Lake Tour. Accommodation should be economic or comfortable. Do my father and my mother have to apply for Tibet Permit in Germany or in Shanghai? If you can help us apply for in Shanghai, what documents do you need to apply for the Permit? Dear White,

Yes, we can customize your own trip: 3 days in Lhasa and 1 day to Namtso Lake, but you need plan another 2 days on the train from Shanghai to Lhasa. If only you book one of our Tibet tours, we will help you and your father apply for the relevant Tibet Travel Permit. Don't worry about the permit to Tibet. However, you need sent us the necessary documents: a scan copy of valid passport of yours and your father's.
