On 25th April,2015, a devastating earthquake hit Nepal Kathmandu and the city of Pokhara, resulting in badly massive damage at the epicenter and in the Kathmandu city downtown. It was a tragedy for the whole world, and we really felt terribly sorry about this. The tourism industry of Kathmandu suffered tremendous loss, with some famous monasteries collapsed, tourist sites damaged, road blocked, etc. At a rough estimate from the authorities, it needs at least 5-10 years to recover the tourism industry from the earthquake.
