1. Travel Consulting
All tour itineraries on our Tour-Tibet.com are just sample. You can contact us ( by email: contact@tour-tibet.com/ info@tour-tibet.com, or by phone: 86+182 1104 4601 (24/7) ) to tailor-make a tour basing on your interests, travel times, group size, etc. We will arrange one of our professional travel consultants exclusively to answer your inquiry and tailor-make your Tibet tour.
The travel consulting service is absolutely free of charge.
2. Reservation
Reserve and book tours with Tour-Tibet.com, clients have the following ways:
Phone Booking: make a call directly to our professional travel consultants and discuss your tour plans and then book the tour.
Email Booking: write a email to our professional travel consultants, once getting it, one of travel consultants will discuss your tour plans via email according to your special requirements and interests.
Onling Booking: you can use the button of "Tailor this tour" or "Tailor your own trip", and then write your name, email address, your nationality and trip details. One of our travel consultants will contact you within 24 hours to handle your booking tour.
A 20% deposit of the full payment is required. Once we receive the deposit, we will ensure your reservation and process your final booking immediately. A letter of confirmation will be sent to you through email as soon as your booking is confirmed, showing you the trip details.
We highly recommend you that you reserve your tour 30-50 days prior to your actual travel date.
3. Payment & Pricing Details
Payment must be in US dollers, Euro and Chinese RMB. We receive all kinds of credit cards ( American Express, Discover, Visa and Master Card ); PayPal, wire transfer ( bank transfer, please fix ), Western Union and cash.
A. The prices of our tours are in U.S. Dollers per person, basing on the exchange rate 1:7 ( USD 1 = RMB 7 ), so if you are paying by credit card or RMB cash, kindly keep in mind that you will be charge 7 RMB for 1 USD. If you pay in Euro, the exchange rate is 1:10 ( 1 Euro = 10 RMB ).
B. Due to the unstable fluctuation of currency, the quotations of tours are subject to change and update before your final full payment made even after your confirming of the quotations. Therefore, we highly recommend that you make full payments in USD dollers as soon as possible against the fluctuation of currency, and upon receiving of your full payment, all the loss of the currency fluctuation will be absorbed by Tour-Tibet.com.
C. If you have children traveling with you, the prices for children under 2 years old will be 10% of the adult's; and children between 2 and 11 years old ( incl. 2 and 11 years old ) will be offered a better price; and children at 12 years old and above will pay the full price.
D. All the price for one traveler are based on the twin sharing hotel rooms ( maybe guesthouse or tent in remote area in Tibet ). If you prefer a single room, the payment of single supplement will be charged accordingly.
E. Please pay attention to the tour itineraries, B/ L/ D are used by us to mean breakfast/ lunch/ dinner. If B/ L/ D are showed, the price of meal is included in the full fee of the tour. If not, it is just to provide you the maximum flexibility of what, where and when to eat, and our local guide will suggest you good local restaurant under your requirements, the fee is your personal expenses.
4. Name Changes, Cancellation & Refunds
It is not transferable for the reservations of our tours. We will do our best to accommodate changes to new Guests' names prior to departure, but there is at least one member of the originally-booked party travels in new guests group. We reserve the right to pass on to you any third party costs.
We would feel very sorry for your cancellation itinerary to Tibet. Once a deposit or partial/ full payment has been made, cancellations will only be accepted by writing and scanning of signature to us.
Cancellation terms will be applied basing on the date that the written cancellation is received and the refund will be made in 15 days after we receive your written cancellation request.

Inevitable cancellation charge: flight tickets, cruise ship tickets, train tickets, and other pre-paid fees which already paid and will cause inevitable cost.
5. Alteration of Itinerary
Before you con confirm your booking, your all alterations of itinerary are free of charge because providing the best tour service to you is our goal. However, after receiving the booking confirmation letter, you will pay for your alteration of 25.00 USD per request. All alteration fees are different depending on the circumstances and can not be guaranteed.
Tour-Tibet.com reserves the right to alter your itinerary, or substitute the activities, hotels, meals or transportation as we deem necessary. We also have the right to cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond our control. In this cases, we will rebook itinerary for you on different day, however if we are unable to rebook you, we will issued a full field claim.
6. Eligibility
Our tour reservation must be done by travelers at more than 18 years old. Children below 18 years old make a reservation under permission from their guardians. For our trips, an infant is defined as anyone who is under the age of 24 months for the entire duration of their trip. A child is defined as anyone between the ages of 24 months and 11 years for the entire duration of their trip.
7. Health Requirement
All clients should take into account high altitude sickness of Tibet region and are familiar with health requirements applicable to the areas you intend to visit. We highly recommend that it is wise to have a body check-up and get your doctor's advice before visiting Tibet.
When you book our itinerary, you must tell us your physical, emotional or mental condition which may confirm to the health requirements of our tour itinerary.
8. Not Included
Personal items are not included, such as: telephone calls, cell phones, mini bar, laundry, beverages, alcohol, etc.
Portage fees at airport, airport taxes, excess baggage fees and passport or visa fees are not included in our tour packages.
Personal shopping: clothes, souvenir, toys for children, etc.
9. Meals
In Tibet regions, in order to provide travelers the maximum flexibility of what, where and when to eat, we generally do not include meals in the tour cost, except breakfast included at the hotels, however, our local tour guide will recommend travelers good local restaurant under requirements.
10. Passport, Visa & Tibet Travel Permits
A valid passport with Chinese visas or permits is required for all foreign travelers visiting to Tibet. If you have a valid passport, please contact your closest passport office and make sure your passport is valid at least 6 months after return date.
If you enter Tibet from other cities in China, you need to apply for a Chinese visa. It is better to apply for it through a Chinese Embassy in your home country or in a third country. If you enter Tibet from Nepal, you need to apply for a new China Visa ( Tibet Group Visa ) at the Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu, whether you already have a China Visa or not.
When travelling to Tibet, all foreigners must apply for Tibet Travel Permits in addition to Chinese Visa. After booking our tours, we can help you apply Tibet Travel Permits, please let us know at least 20 days prior to your departure date.
11. Insurance Protection
We highly recommend that you purchase insurance from your mother country or from World Nonads which covers for trip cancellation and interruption, baggage protection and delay, travel accidents and delay, and emergency medical and dental services and associated transportation.
12. Luggage Allowance
According to the regulations of the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China, the free baggage allowance of travelers to China is 20kg ( 44pounds ) for the economy class, 30kg ( 66pounds ) for the business class, and 40kg ( 88pounds ) for the first class, plus limited carry-on luggage. Excess baggage charges are the sole responsibility of yours.
13. Responsibility & Liability
All members of Tour-Tibet.com are very pleased to serve for you. We will do our best to make you satisfaction during your tour. Tour-Tibet.com provides Tibet travel information and itinerary booking, best-valued hotel selection, local feature food and flight/ train ticket booking and so on.
The responsibility of Tour-Tibet.com is strictly limited.
A. Tour-Tibet.com shall not be responsible for unreasonable and negligent acts, omissions, or failure to act of any suppliers, such as land, air or land transportation, sightseeing excursions, cruise/ hotel accommodations, or failure of any third party not directly owned or operated by Tour-Tibet.com.
B. Tour-Tibet.com shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person or property, alteration of itineraries or cancellation in part or in full, due to climatic conditions, acts of government or other authorities, wars whether or not declared, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations or any other actions beyond the direct control of Tour-Tibet.com.
C. Tour-Tibet.com shall not be responsible for your personal valuable items being stolen or lost due to your own carelessness.
D. Tour-Tibet.com shall not be responsible for your failure to comply with customs regulations and bad consequence caused by your failure.
E. Tour-Tibet.com reserves the right to substitute hotels of similar quality at any time or to change itinerary of similar quality, flights, or cruise ships, or to cancel the tour prior to departure date.
F. Tour-Tibet.com reserves the right to correct promotion or pricing errors at any time, or to increase the program price in the event of cost increasing due to changes in airfares, cruises fares, currency fluctuations, taxes or fuel surcharges.
G. Please understand that not all tourist attractions are open every day of a year. Tour-Tibet.com reserves the right to vary sightseeing order if that will enable you to visit all listed excursions. In either case, the itinerary content will be maintained to the extent possible and there are no refunds for any unused or unavailable excursions.
14. Complaints & Claims
Whenever you feel unsatisfied with tour service of Tour-Tibet.com, please contact contact@tour-tibet.com or inform your local tour guide or your travel consultant immediately, in order to avoid similar problems happening again during your trip.
If you intend to complain or claim for compensation, you must contact us by email, regular mail, or fax in writing 15 days after ending your tour. Please keep relevant receipts and substantiating evidence, and attached them to the letter of claim. For any claims made later than 15 days after end of your tour, Tour-Tibet.com will have any responsibilities.
